One Skein Crocheted Shawl

This pattern makes a loose and lacey shawl that utilizes just a few crochet stitches, dc3tog and v-stitch (which will be taught in this class) making a perfectly simple but engaging project. With an 8 row repeat method, this shawl will work up quickly without becoming monotonous. This pattern is perfect for a one skein project, however the buildable construction method allows for the option to add length and width. This versatile pattern can use a variety of yarn weights
Skills required: beginner crochet skills including the following stitches- chain, slip, double crochet and triple crochet
Skills taught: pattern reading, stitch reading, and both double crochet 3 together (dc3tog) and the v-stitch.
Materials:
Crochet hook | based on yarn choice hook size will varies, hook size guidelines are with the recommended yarn

DK (3.75mm-4.5mm hook): Urth Spiral Grain sport or light worsted (3-4 skeins), Cascade Ultra Pima cotton (2-3 skeins)
Worsted (4.5mm-6mm hook): Malabrigo Rios (2-3 skeins), Manos Marla or Sami (2 skeins) Cascade Bossa Nova (2-3 skeins)
