- About 50 yards of DK yarn, I used Zooey Dappled from Juniper Moon Farm
- 5mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Tapestry needle
- chain stitch
- slip stich
- single crochet
- double crochet (helpful, but not necessary)
- magic ring
- puff stich
- working in the round
- invisible join
